Finnair
One of the World's most established airlines, Finnair is the national flag carrier of Finland. You can get flights to Helsinki and on to Finnish regional airports from all over Europe, North America and Asia.
British Airways
BA fly direct to Helsinki from both London Heathrow and Manchester several times a day. Many of the flights are code-share arrangements with Finnair.
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines
You can fly to Helsinki from any UK airport with KLM via Amsterdam Schipol Airport. For many, this works out to be preferable to a long car journey to the airport with its expensive on-site parking.
Blue 1 Airlines
Blue 1 is new low-cost airline, partly owned by SAS. You can fly to Helsinki from London and many other major European airports and take onward flights to Kuopio, Oulu, Rovaniemi, Tampere, Turku, and Vaasa.
Air Baltic
You cannot fly directly to Helsinki with Air Baltic but what many people do is fly to Tallinn and take the Hydrofoil across form there. Air Baltic also has routes from many Eastern European countries to Helsinki and a number of Finnish regional airports.
Air Berlin
Air Berlin fly direct to Helsinki from London Stansted Airport. They also have departures from a large number of European Airports to Finland including Barcelona, Palma, Rome, Milan Bergamo, Copenhagen, Paris, Vienna and several German airports.
Finncomm Airlines
This a very small airline that takes you to the Finnish Regions and Tallinn only.

Fly direct from London Stansted to Helsinki
Ryanair
Ryanair fly into Tampere Airport, (which is kind of in the middle of Finland), from Riga, Milan, Bremen, Frankfurt Hahn, Stansted and Dublin direct.
BMI Airlines
BMI fly direct to Helsinki from London Heathrow Terminal 1 and with connections from Edinburgh, Glasgow and Leeds Bradford.
