The Hotel Vecriga (Old Riga) is on one of the charming and narrow streets of Old Riga, Gleznotaju (Painters') street. The history of the building can be traced back to 15th century and during its during its lifetime has been rebuilt several times. After reconstruction in 1768, the house gained its unique exterior that has been preserved and carefully renovated nowadays. In 2001 His Holiness the 14th the Dalai Lama stayed in the hotel during his visit to Riga. Hotel Vecriga is perfect choice for anybody who loves a romantic atmosphere, quietness and comfort. Each room has a mini-bar, phone, TV, and the Internet connection is available as well. And of course its wonderful restaurant is worth a visit. At summer time guests are invited to dine in the beautiful and charming inner courtyard with a small fountain, under the sunlit sky and among blooming flowers.

Hotel Tia
Hotel Tia is conveniently located, not far from Riga city centre, just a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive from the Old Town. Built in 1980, renovated in 1995 and again partially in 2005, the hotel offer 49 rooms over 7 floors, all equipped with shower, WC, satellite TV, telephone and fridge.
