Eurostar increases trains to Paris

Eurostar has announced it is to increase routes in both directions between London and Paris on peak times between Mondays and Thursdays.

A spokesman for Eurostar said: "We are delighted at the growing numbers of travellers from the regions and we will soon be rolling out more through fares with other UK train operators.

"The increase in services means we have 24,000 seats available between London and Paris on Mondays to Thursdays, and 30,000 seats on Fridays."

According to Eurostar the number of people using its services has increased this year, thanks to many wishing to see its revamped services from Kings Cross St Pancras station.

Those wishing to visit Paris in September will not be short of things to do, with such events as the Techno Parade and the bi-annual antiques fair taking place, as well as Madonna visiting the city on the latest leg of her tour.
