Stockholm's largest hotel, Clarion Sign, open for business
21 June 2008

The largest hotel in Stockholm with 558 rooms, Clarion Sign opened in February 2008 and is designed to create a source of inspiration for the hotel's guests. Designed by Swedish architect Gert Wingårdh, the hotel's exterior is dominated by granite and glass reflecting the green park outside and the terrace has relaxing bubble chairs for guests to lounge in as they take in views of the city.

The interior has been designed by Arne Jacobson, Bruno Mathsson and Alvar Aalto and features design classics such as Egg, Wave and Lily furniture. The eighth floor houses the Selma CitySpa+ where guests can indulge in a sauna, work out in the gym, treat themselves to a Swedish massage or take a dip in the rooftop pool with a year-round temperature of 35 degrees. Double rooms start from SEK 1,525 (approx £114) including breakfast.
